Dear Bethel, As you know I have now arrived home safely after a trip around the world. The World Race was definitely an adventure for me and a life changing year. I enjoyed traveling and learning about different cultures. I was able to experience more Latin culture in South America and then it  was my first time in Europe. I then fell more in love with Africa and then it was my first time experiencing Asia as well. It was...

Dear Bethel, I just finished month 10 on the World Race! My team’s ministry was in the Takeo Province which is South of Phnom Penh. We were staying at and working with a Joy Christian Center. Our main contacts were Cambodian and had such a heart for God and reaching out to His people. Cambodia went through a tough time in the late 1970s and is still recovering from that today. An entire generation was killed through the Khmer Rouge...

From Our Missionary Dear Bethel, I have just finished month 10 on the World Race. This was probably my most challenging month. I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand working in the red-light district. From Our Missionary Dear Bethel, I just finished month 8 of The World Race. This month my team was outside of Mbabane, Swaziland in the mountains. It was an absolutely beautiful place. We experienced sun, rain, thunderstorms, fog and electrical storms. Ministry this month was great as well. We stayed at El  Shaddai Children’s home which began in 2000 by a couple from South Africa who had hearts for the orphans of Swaziland. There are currently 55 kids ages 3...

From Our Missionary Dear Bethel, This has been a great month in Chamba, Mozambique. I spent the month at a boys orphanage called Kedesh Sanctuario. The orphanage was opened in 1994 by an American from Salt Lake City. He has lived here ever since taking in boys from the streets and boys taken away from their families by social services. My first thought when I was told my team was going to a boys orphanage was, “whoa, this is going...

From Our Missionary Dear Bethel, This month I have been in Cape Town, South Africa! It was absolutely amazing. We spent the month working with the youth in the impoverished area. We played soccer during the afternoons, helping to give the kids something productive to do. In the mornings we would spend time on the beach, praying, playing soccer, and talking to different people. On a couple of days we were able to take the township kids to the beach...
