Fellowship at Bethel Lutheran Church
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.” Acts 2:42-43
The mission of the Fellowship Team is to create friendships and unity among members of our congregation, as well as visitors, creating a true sense of family at Bethel. We do this through creating opportunities to come together as a congregation or in small groups. Faith and laughter are two very important elements to our events, for sharing our faith AND laughing with the joy of Christ seem to connect us deeply to one another.
Our hope for you and for us is that you will join us in our time together and experience a deep and lifelong connection with us in faith!
What is Christian Fellowship?
The Greek word in the New Testament we translate into fellowship carries with it a sense of: a) “to share together” in the sense of partnership or participation, and b) “to share with” in a sense of giving to others.
We as Christians find ways to share in our relationships with others, blessings and burdens, privileges and responsibilities and our faith.
At Bethel we share in our times of fellowship, our faith, laughter, meals and struggles. We our bound together more solidly because of the opportunities we have to be together in “Christian Fellowship”.
