As a Bethel Member, How Can I Access The Restricted Areas Of Our Website?

A note to our members: Please know that the restricted areas of our website have been put in place to protect Bethel’s members. It may be a slight inconvenience to obtain a user account and password in order to login, but having secured content areas allows the IT Team to make Bethel’s website much more useful to you in the long run.

As you may have noticed, the protected areas of our website with restricted access are indicated by an asterisk (*) after the menu item or post title. Just so you know, there are also other protected areas on this site that are not indicated this way.

Did you know that any Bethel member can have have a WordPress account and password set up with the level of access you need?

Bethel’s website is at: http://bethelaurora.org

Every member of the church is encouraged to get at least a subscriber-level account. A subscriber account lets you read our protected content. We are also seeking members to contribute posts and take ownership of website pages and blogs relative to their ministries. Please contact a member of the IT Team who can assist you with both selecting your account type and setting it up for you. The account type you select will allow you only to do the things you want or need to do and will prevent you from making inadvertent mistakes. That’s great news, isn’t it? You don’t have to worry!

Bethel Christian Forum is at: http://forum.bethelaurora.org

Anyone can register on BCF as a general member and access the public areas. General members can request to be upgraded to the Bethel Member group (which will only be granted to members of Bethel Lutheran Church) and access the private areas. BCF is a great place to create discussions between our members. You can start a discussion topic, make comments, and reply to others’ comments. It’s kind of like Bethel’s own version of Facebook.
