Pastor Barb was born and raised in Keokuk, Iowa. She graduated from Wartburg seminary in May of 1984 and received her first call to Shepherd of the Hills in Ft. Collins, CO. After that, for 9 years she served at Joy Lutheran in Parker, CO with her husband Pastor Mike Lemke. Pastor Barb has been at Bethel since August of 2000. In 2003, she received her Doctor of Ministry from Philips Theological Seminary with an emphasis in prayer and ministry of the laity. She loves to share God’s love and word with her congregation. It is easy to know that God is the center of her life. Just look at her enthusiasm and bright smile!
